The Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce has announced nominees for its annual awards banquet.  Nominees are chosen in categories such as business of the year, new business of the year and citizen of the year.  Winners will be announced at the Suits and Boots Awards Celebration on February 8.  More information may be found at www.DrippingSpringsTx.org.  DrippingSpringsLife.com


Kathy Carriker - Member of the Friends Foundation, Volunteers countless hours fundraising & delivering "Our Daily Bread" to elderly shut-ins; Volunteers at Hill Country Care.

Charlene Farmer - Volunteers greatly in Relay for Life, Pivotal in the community; Tireless/Selfless Organizer.

Steve Formier - Retired Air Force, Volunteers for the Founders Day Commission, Christmas on Mercer, Knights of Columbus and St. Martin De Porres church projects.

Linda Freeman - Never turns down an opportunity to make Dripping Springs a better place.

Barb Mansur - Volunteers on Dripping w/Taste, DS Ranch Park, Wild West Fest, Fall Fest and the Empty Bowl Project. Always has a kind word & follows through on her commitment

Patrick Rose - Continues to lend his knowledge & experience to the City and the Chamber in a very meaningful way.

Jon Thompson - Not only works for the City of Dripping Springs but serves on the Chamber Economic Development Committee, helping steer Dripping Springs in the right direction.

Boot Scootin' on Mercer

Clark Gravell Named 2013 Hays County Livestock Show Queen

Lovely Clark Gravell, daughter of Kim and Rip Gravell and granddaughter of Clara and Lewis Gravell, was named Queen of the 2013 Hays County Livestock Show.  Clark is an outstanding student at Dripping Springs High School, a varsity softball player and current president of the DSHS FFA program.  Way to go, Clark!
