Last year, they began a pilot program aimed at giving students the opportunity to lead their own service projects. The Foundation is expanding the program this year to include both Middle School and High School students in DSISD. The grants provide funding to student-led initiatives which will serve the respective campuses or others in the community in a variety of ways. The goal is to empower students to realize their ideas and foster their leadership skills. Any current DSISD High School or Middle School student may apply for a grant. The project must have a DSISD faculty member sponsor.
