Bell Springs Winery Now Offering Its Handcrafted Wines in Kegs
Bell Springs Winery, a family-owned winery in Dripping Springs, now offers its locally handcrafted wines in self-contained kegs, an old way being made new again. While the kegs of yore were unreliable wooden barrels, today’s wine kegs, popularly used in bars and restaurants across Europe are gaining momentum in the U.S. Bell Springs Winery kegs are available in 1.3 gallon or 2.95 gallon sizes, holding the equivalent of 7 bottles and 15 bottles of wine, respectively. A sample of Bell Springs Winery wines currently available in kegs includes Syrah, Viognier, Sangiovese, and Nebbiolo. The wine kegs are completely stand-alone or can be tied into a restaurant or bar’s tap system.

Landscape color at Sophie's
Worth Noting: We passed by Sophie's Garden the other day and they had some huge, colorful faux flowers decorating the front porch. This is about the most color we've seen in our parched little town in a long time! Thank you Lisa at Sophie's for your creativity and this little burst of color. DrippingSpringsLife.com.

Pound House Summer Music Event Tonight
The Pound House Summer Outdoor Music Series continues tonight, Sunday, July 3rd, from 7-9:00PM. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy live music and family fun. Volunteer event producer and Dripping Springs resident, Tod Freeman, says there will be bubbles and hula hoops on hand, and even a hula hoop contest during one of the band’s breaks. “People can celebrate right here during the Fourth of July weekend, with ice cream and popcorn from the Big Drip, and their own drinks and snacks to enjoy from their blankets or chairs under the big shade trees,” noted Freeman.
