Great American Bird Count
Dripping Springs birding enthusiasts will want to participate in the Great American Bird Count this weekend. Hays County Master Naturalists are providing guided counts at Charro Ranch Park, Founders Memorial Park and Dripping Springs Ranch Park on Saturday, February 16th. Due to limited space, you must register in advance at www.sites.google.com/site/dsgreatbackyardbirdcount or email dsgbbc@gmail.com to participate. Participants will meet at Veterans Memorial Park at assigned times for an introduction to the GBBC and instruction on how to conduct counts at other sites. After the presentation, participants will be sent to one of the parks to meet up with an experienced bird guide to learn field identification techniques and conduct a one-hour count.

Dripping Springs is the Best!
A friend of ours lost her credit card late last week. She retraced her steps and went back to a gas station here in Dripping Springs to see if she could find it. Our friend went into the store and asked if anyone had possibly turned in a credit card. Her card was there at the register -- a great person had turned it in. The cashier behind the counter told her that such honesty is very common in our great community. Amen. DrippingSpringsLife.com
